Pre procedure information

At Revive we want to make your appointment an enjoyable experience. Please make sure you read the pre-procedure information for your treatment prior to your visit. If you have any questions then please feel free to get in touch.

DEPOSITS

To secure any treatment over the value of £100 a £50 deposit is required.  You will receive a text in the days after you make your appointment with details on how to make payment.  The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances however it can be moved to a different appointment time if 48 hours’ notice is provided.  If you decide not to go ahead with a treatment the deposit will be transferred onto a gift card for you to use at another time or on a different type of treatment.  Deposits are taken from the value of your treatment on the day.

Previous Tattooing

If you have previous semi-permanent make up on your brows or lips then please book a consultation or email photos of your previous pigment BEFORE you book for your chosen treatment.  All artists have their own styles, and it is not always possible to work over or correct other artists’ work.  If you have had previous work done elsewhere but it is your first visit to Revive then you will be treated as if you are a new client and the full treatment costs will be applied.

MICROBLADING/POWDER BROWS

  • If you are on medication, you should clear the treatment with your doctor before your appointment.

Lip Blushing

This treatment is not always suitable for those with a history of cold sores or for those who have deep wrinkles around the lips.  Filler is recommended 4 weeks in advance for those with deep lines to ensure better healed results.

If you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex) and are scheduling a lip enhancement, it’s advised that you to use anti-herpes medication such as Zovirax ointment that can be obtained from a pharmacy. Use the medication for 1-week prior and 1-week after your appointment up to 5 times a day to reduce the incidence of an outbreak by 50%. Oral anti-herpes medication (Acyclovir) will control the incidence of an outbreak more or less completely. PMU does not cause cold sores, however, if you carry the virus, it lays dormant in the nervous system and can be aroused by the infusion process.
